Traveling Soon!

With our immigration/I-800 process completed, we were able to apply for Presley's visa to come home. All of our compiled paperwork known as the Article 5 has been sent to the Consulate in China. Our agency just found out that our Article 5 pick up will be on September 1st. Our agency also just informed us that Travel Approvals are coming in very quickly which means that we could travel in as soon as . . .  3 weeks! Presley's Gotcha Day would be on September 19th. We have been expecting to travel in October, so this would be incredible to get to go meet our girl sooner! There is a holiday in China from October 1-7 when offices close down, so the next possible date to travel would be to have our Gotcha Day on October 10th.

We are trusting the Lord for every detail, and we know that He is in charge! He has already planned the exact minute that our little precious will be in our arms! So . .  we are preparing to leave soon, but we are prepared to wait a bit longer. Either way, we have much to do to get ready. Thankfully, we have our passports and visas ready to go!

Once we get the final word that we have our TA, we will book our flights and be on our way!

We are coming sweet baby, and our hearts are bursting with joy!!!

Sweet Surprise!

We woke up this morning to the sweetest surprise . . . new pictures of our precious Presley! We are entering the home stretch in our adoption process, and so our agency sent us a final update. The pictures are kind of far away, but her crinkly eyed smile is evident! It simply melts our hearts!

We believe she will light up a room with that brilliant smile! Even if we don't get to see it right away (poor baby's life is about to change in so many ways) we know that smile is there, and we will do everything we can to put it on her face!
We love you sweet girl, and we can hardly wait to meet you!

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26
