Happy Father's Day!

Surrounded by his children, loved and adored by each one! He is such an amazing example of love! His love for his children is a reflection of the Father's love!
They are so blessed!
"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God."

Special Time With Family!

Last week the girls and I went on an adventure back to California to visit my sister's family. They are so special to us, and we miss them! David and the boys had to stay behind due to work commitments, so this was just a girl trip. We set out for the 13 hour drive! About half way we stopped for a treat . . . In N Out! So yummy!
We arrived safe and sound and had a joyous reunion!
They recently moved into a new community fondly known as "The Ranch". We "city folks" got acquainted with "country living"! Mia especially had some adjusting to do! "Chickens!"

Lindy and Joy absolutely loved it!

We even got to go to the beach one day!
My sister and her China treasures! While we were at the beach, I received the phone call that our dossier was officially logged in . . . LID! Anna and I and just these two little ones were on our way to the bathroom at the time . . . a special memory!
 Special cousins!
Special sister!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time together! Although distance currently separates us, our hearts will forever be joined! We can't wait to be together again soon!
We love you, Lefebvres! Thank you so much for the special time! xo

"Happy Birthday, Lindy!"

Lindy turned 8 today! We had a special day of celebrating our precious girl! She had big plans . . .
first of all church and Sunday School, which she loves! She wore yellow (her favorite color) and a big yellow bow! We think it is so cute that she likes yellow which is a reflection of our "sunny" girl!
Next, she wanted to eat at Panda Express for lunch with her favorite, orange chicken! Yum!

We then headed to the party store for a Hello Kitty balloon (her request) and a ring pop!

We made our way back home to make lemon cupcakes with strawberry frosting and pink sprinkles! And there was rainbow sherbet to go with them!

Present time came next . . . a yellow Snow White nightgown from her special big sis and a soft princess Belle in her beautiful yellow dress!

Then it was time for the big one . . . her very first bike! Lindy has wanted a bike for quite some time, and we believe she is now ready. She hopped right on with Daddy's help and rode around the family room with the hugest smile on her face.

We ventured outside for her first real ride and off she went!

We love you, sweet Lindy! You are kind, gentle, loving, and you have the most kissable cheeks! We thank God for the gift of your life, and we are so blessed to call you our daughter! Happy birthday! xo
