We just listened in on the morning rounds. We love how they include us in everything that is going on! Presley is doing well and has been pretty stable except for her temperature. She has had a fever, so that is the main thing they are trying to control. They can't lift the paralytic or remove the breathing tube to begin waking her up until her fever is down. So, lots of prayers for that today! The doctors have assured us that nothing is happening that is unexpected, and Presley's body is just trying to adjust to her new anatomy. Her little body has been used to functioning a certain way for a long time, and it takes time for it to get used to her blood actually flowing correctly. A praise is that her heart is pacing on its own and beating in a regular rhythm, not needing to rely on the pacemaker!
Our God is a God of miracles, and we are in awe of Him and His ways. We continue to trust Him, and we know that nothing is surprising to Him. Our faith in Him will not waiver, and we know He is doing a good work because He loves us and He loves our little princess (who is still wearing her sparky bow)!!!

Princess Ariel has been right by her side . . . she has become "part of her world!"
While we were touring the hospital, we met another heart mama and her newly adopted little guy from China. He was recovering from his heart surgery, and then we got to chat some more the night we were admitted before surgery. It's so special to meet other families who are going through the same thing. Last evening some balloons were delivered for Presley from her new friend Apollo. What a special surprise!!!
It looks like it will be another quiet day of trying to control her temperature. Maybe by tonight or tomorrow we will be able to take the next big step forward! Go, Presley, go!!!
